The Inter-Cultural Intelligence (ICI) Certification Journey equips you to lead individuals and teams to interact with our diverse world, doing right by others, empowering them, and honoring unique perspectives.

The Inter-Cultural Intelligence (ICI) Certification provides participants with a rich and deep language for understanding and shaping cultural environments, while taking the emotional sting out of what are often difficult and loaded issues. Our approach unlocks these conversations and allows coaches and facilitators to take people on a journey that results in tangible change, for themselves and the people around them.

With over 20 years of experience working alongside companies, organizations and individuals in multiple industries across five continents, Marco Blankenburgh and his team at KnowledgeWorkx went on to develop the Inter-Cultural Intelligence Framework™ – the foundation for our Inter-Cultural Intelligence Certification. The framework involves contextual analysis and observation, as well as practical strategies and tools for preventing and resolving intercultural tension and conflict, among other related goals with a wide range of applications.

Our Inter-Cultural Intelligence (ICI) Certification equips you to lead individuals and teams to engage our diverse world in an effective and agile way. We offer a number of Certification Levels to support you in finding the path that suits your situation and needs best. Cohorts are small and intimate, allowing for deep discussion and flexibility in scheduling. You’ll finish with the tools and support you need to facilitate anything from everyday conversations about intercultural experiences to multi-day workshops that expand minds and hearts to create healthy cultures in our beautifully complex world.

Throughout this journey, you will meet over Zoom with others in your global cohort for live sessions with your Certification Facilitators. These sessions are lively, engaging discussions more than they are lectures, and you’ll have real-time opportunities to practice what you’re learning.

LEVEL 1: 8-Week Training

Milestone 1A: Become a Three Colors of Worldview™ Champion
- First six (6) weekly Virtual Live Sessions (120 minutes each)
- Includes personal Three Colors of Worldview Assessment with Report
- Upon completion, receive your Three Colors of Worldview Champion Badge
Milestone 1B: Become a Certified Three Colors of Worldview™ Practitioner
- Facilitate the Three Colors of Worldview Assessment & Debrief with 5 Participants (Individually or as a Group) as your first Graduation Project
- Upon completion, receive your Three Colors of Worldview Certified Practitioner Badge
Ongoing Education
- Opt-in to receive exclusive 7-week email learning series on Three Colors of Worldview from KnowledgeWorkx

LEVEL 2: 6-Week Training

Milestone 2A: Become an Inter-Cultural Intelligence Certification
- Final four (4) weekly Virtual Live Sessions (90 minutes each)
- Complete second stage of learning journey, including personal 12 Dimensions of Culture Assessment with Report
- Upon completion, receive your Intercultural Agility Champion Badge
Milestone 2B: Become a Certified Inter-Cultural Intelligence Practitioner
- Complete Graduation Project – Facilitate 12 Dimensions of Culture Assessment & Debrief with 5 Participants
- Receive access to Digital Facilitator’s Kit (Handouts, PowerPoints, Videos, Case Studies and other useful information) with MyKW Facilitator account
Ongoing Education
- Opt-in to receive exclusive 13-week email learning series on 12 Dimensions of Culture from KnowledgeWorkx

Next steps are available for those interested in facilitating team journeys for High Performing Intercultural Teams (HPIT).

Delivered and fully supported on the Promote™ learning platform, the ICI Certification curriculum, interactions and materials are readily available as you walk through the learning journey. Cohorts are small and intimate, allowing for deep discussion and flexibility in scheduling.

Six Virtual Live Sessions (Levels 1 & 2) (90 minutes each) via Zoom
pre- and post- session homework as well as regular assignments to be completed as part of the certification journey (up to 5 hours of Pre- and post- work per session)
Full Journey spread over 6 weeks, not including post-journey time to complete Graduation Project
